Biography.
Chloe Naomi is an interdisciplinary director and theatre maker. Her work merges academic research with experimental theatricality. By applying detailed physical work within devising processes and collaborating closely with design teams, she strives to create playful and visually innovative theatrical projects.
Chloe is currently studying in the Lir’s MFA Theatre Directing programme. She also holds a BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies with English from the University of Galway.
Chloe is co-founder and artistic director of Ciaróg Productions which strives to produce, curate and devise new work for Irish audiences. She has worked with Druid Theatre Company, Active Consent, Macnas, Róisín Stack, Town Hall Theatre, Cúirt Literary Festival and Galway International Arts Festival as an arts administrator and manager. In 2023, Chloe assistant directed the Irish tour of “How I Learned About Consent” devised by Active Consent and directed by Jérémie Cyr-Cooke. Her work has been awarded the Agility Award from Arts Council Ireland as well as the Elevate Bursary from Galway International Arts Festival.
