Biography.

Chloe Naomi is a multidisciplinary theatre maker based in Galway, Ireland. Their work merges academic research with experimental theatricality. Through their practice, they are interested in discovering nuanced themes, exploring contradictory states of being and taking from while also challenging traditional performance practices. By applying detailed physical work within devising processes and collaborating closely with design teams, they strive to create fragmented, playful and visually innovative theatrical projects. 

In 2023, Chloe received the Best Director and Best Set Design award at the Irish Society Drama Awards with their production of Mr Burns (A Post Electric Play). 

Chloe holds a BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies with English from the University of Galway where she received a first class honours. Before coming to Galway, Chloe trained in Baltimore, Maryland where they specialized in acting at Carver Center’s School for the Arts and Technology.

Chloe has worked with the Town Hall Theatre, Druid, Macnas, Blue Teapot, Active Consent, Galway Theatre Festival and Galway’s International Arts Festival and is currently acting as Ciaróg Production’s Co-Founder/Artistic Director.
