Chloe Naomi.

Director.

I am a multidisciplinary director based in the West of Ireland. In creating theatrical works, I enjoy taking a detailed analytical approach to the text first with a particular interest in discovering nuanced themes and contradictory states of being. I then apply detailed physical work within devising process’ and collaborate closely with design teams to create fragmented, playful and visually innovative contemporary projects. In 2023, I directed Mr Burns (A Post Electric Play) written by Anne Washburn which went on to compete in the 2023 Irish Society Drama Awards and won Best Direction. Most recently, I acted as Active Consent’s assistant director for their 2024 tour of How I Learned About Consent. Currently, I am developing an original production entitled Pupa which will be produced under Ciaróg Productions.
